Directions to the State House are as follows:

From the South (Brunswick, Portland and beyond): Head north on I-95N. Take the U.S. 202 E/ME-100 E exit toward Augusta. Merge onto ME-100 N/ME-17/US-202 E/Western Ave. Turn right onto Armory St. Turn Left onto Capitol St.
From the North (Waterville, Bangor and beyond): Head southwest on Interstate 95. Take exit #109b (Augusta), then follow the instructions above.
From the West (Lewiston and beyond): Take Route 202 to Augusta where it becomes Western Avenue. After you pass over Interstate 95, follow the instructions above.
From mid-coast Maine (Rockland, Camden, Belfast): Head west on Route 17 or Route 3. After crossing the Kennebec River take Route 201 south at the Rotary.

Tours of the State House – As a citizen or visitor to the State of Maine, you are invited to visit and/or tour the Maine State House. Tours and Field Trips are scheduled through the Maine State Museum. They are free of charge, and available for the State House and the Blaine House. For more information and scheduling contact the State Museum at (207) 287-2301. About the State House

Honorary Page Program – Students from third grade through high school are invited to serve in the Senate Chamber as Honorary Pages when the Senate is in Session.

The Hall of Flags – The Hall of Flags schedule is maintained by the House Clerk’s Office.
